1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of theviraledit.com (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from TheViralEdit (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in New Zealand. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to place an order.

3. Products and descriptions
We try to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours may vary slightly between screens, and sizes may differ by a small margin. Individual results from products like skincare or beauty devices will vary, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. If you have a skin condition, are pregnant, or have a medical device or implant, please speak to a health professional before using a product.

4. Pricing and payment
All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD). We are not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged on our prices. We may change prices at any time, but the price you see when you order is the price you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order through our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details. If we make an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

5. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, we can’t verify your details, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you’ve paid, we’ll refund you in full.

6. Shipping, returns and refunds
Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy, and returns and refunds by our Returns & Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

7. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or any other New Zealand law that can’t be excluded.

8. Discount codes and promotions
Discount codes can’t be combined unless we say so, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn or expire at any time. We may cancel orders where a code has been misused.

9. Intellectual property
All content on the Site, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site unlawfully, attempt to disrupt or hack it, use bots or scrapers without permission, or submit false information.

11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or loss of data, arising from your use of the Site or our products. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can’t legally be excluded. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except where the law says otherwise.

12. Third-party links and services
The Site may link to third-party sites, and we use third-party services for payments and delivery. We aren’t responsible for their content, policies or practices.

13. Privacy
We collect and use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with the Privacy Act 2020.

14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the Site when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.

15. Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
